Your session includes full studio access, acrylic paints, paintbrushes, stencils, clay tools, sketching supplies, and art books to help spark your creativity.
Additional materials are available for purchase:
- Acrylic Kit – Canvases $6–$17 (various sizes),
- Painting Tutorials $5 (12 designs to choose from)
- Watercolour kit – $8 (5 x A4 premium watercolour papers)
- Clay kit – $9 (500g of air-drying clay, white or terracotta)

The Open Studio at Paint for Fun provides a self-guided creative space where individuals can explore their artistic talents independently. Unlike formal class instruction, it offers access to our studio facilities and materials for artists to work on their projects at their own pace.
The Open Studio is open to artists of all skill levels and backgrounds. Whether you’re a beginner looking to experiment with different mediums or an experienced artist seeking a space to work on personal projects, everyone is welcome.
We provide a variety of art materials and supplies, including canvases, paints, brushes, easels, drawing tools, and more. Participants have access to everything they need to bring their creative visions to life.
While walk-ins are welcome, you also have the option to book in advance for our Open Studio sessions. Please note that regardless of whether you book in advance or walk in, it’s important to be mindful of our operating hours.
The Open Studio sessions are available from Monday to Thursday, 11am-5pm and Sunday 1pm-5pm. You can stay as long as you like during these times! Please note that we are closed on public holidays.

The Open Studio allows artists to work on a wide range of projects. Whether you’re interested in painting, drawing, sketching, mixed media, or other forms of visual art, you’re free to explore your chosen medium.
While there isn’t a formal instructor present in the Open Studio, our staff member on duty can provide assistance, guidance, and support as needed. Feel free to ask questions or seek feedback on your artwork.
The Open Studio is suitable for artists of all ages, including children, teenagers, adults, and seniors. However, children under a certain age may require adult supervision.
No, we do not allow guests to bring their own art supplies. Instead, they can utilise the wide range of supplies available in the studio for their creative endeavours.
The ticket cost for accessing the Open Studio is $12 per guest. This fee covers studio use and the provision of acrylic paints and paintbrushes. There is an additional cost per canvas (from $6 to $14 per canvas, depending on size and shape).
