Melbourne’s first ever paint in the dark event has taken place on May 14th. This new series of events is bought to you exclusively by paint for fun to add some much-needed warmth and fun to your winter. Pour a glass of wine, pick up a paintbrush, get your boogie on and unleash your neon spirit at a hyper-fluoro disco!
At Paint in the Dark© by paint for Fun, we turn your paint and sip party into a dazzling neon event! Use fluoro paints under UV lights to make your canvas POP. Give your face a cheeky glow up too – our acrylic paints are totally skin safe!
What to expect
In attending this class, we want to provide you with a little insight into what you’re getting yourself into:
- Be prepared to get messy, if you want to make the most of your experience, we recommend using your body as a canvas too!
- It will be dark, all-natural lighting is blocked out with only UV/ neon lights on.
- Fun and creativeness, this is not a step-by-step class we allow you to experiment and paint what you would like.
- Switching up your traditional paint and sip to add more partying, dancing, drinking and of course a whole lot of neon!
How to prepare
Here is what we suggest doing before the class:
- First and most importantly, get excited! You are about to be attending Melbourne’s exclusive Paint in the dark event by Paint For Fun
- Think about what you would like to paint, you’re welcome to bring your ideas, reference photos and so on (imagine what would look good in Fluro)
- Pick out your outfit, we recommend wearing bright colours like white so you can shine as bright as the paint! (Note aprons will be provided)
- Don’t forget to plan your drinks!
